War of 1812

Here is an extra credit opportunity for students in my class. Answer the following in complete sentences:

1. Discuss three causes of the war. You don't have to go into great detail. A couple of sentences for each reason will do.

2. What role did the British navy play in the war? Were they superior or inferior to the American navy?

3. Tell about the role Native Americans (or Canadians) played in the war. Why did they choose to support the side that they did?
